Our Values and Suppliers
We try to ensure that our impact on nature and our community are as positive as they can be. Of course we can always do more, but here are some of the ways we work to make a difference.
Our revenue share agreement with our host, Bore Place, means that a proportion of your payment goes directly towards the work of this inspirational environmental charity.
We buy our yurts and shepherds huts from small scale UK producers, who share our values.
The wood you burn in the stoves and fire pits is sustainably grown on the farm, and then logged and split by our own under woodsman John Waller. He also supplies the chestnut poles for the outdoor kitchens/shelters and built the beautiful woven hazel shower screen.
The blankets are made from local wool woven made by Romney Marsh Wools.
The soap and shampoo bars are fully biodegrade, so ideal for the outdoor shower, and from The Friendly Soap Company.
Our Towels our Eco Towels made of Organic Cotton.
We use Ecover and Bio D cleaning products.
Our laundry is done by local company Eco Fresh
The candles in the yurt lamps are pure beeswax from Bee Zero Waste
